Objective of the Event

The main agenda of this workshop was to teach students Node.js technology which is very much in use in IT companies. The objective was also to make students aware of various technologies like REST APIs, Sockets, JavaScript, GITHUB, Mongo DB, etc. Also, Give knowledge of Industry Coding Standards to Students. There were no prerequisites required to attend this workshop. The students were to be made aware about all the aspects of Node.js so as to have an exposure to this field.

Outcome of the Event

Students gained elobarated knowledge about Node.js. Starting with the basic concepts, participants were taught about the more details about how to implement them. Backend connectivity and basic operations were included in the session.The sessios were very interactive and participants had their queries solved and doubts cleared by the end of the workshop. The assignment given at the end of every session helped the participants to feel confident about the concepts. It helped them to have hands on experience about how actually website and other components work.

Students also got knowledge about Mongo DB. Feedback from the students was indicating their satisfaction and contentment for attending workshop.
