Electrical Engineering Department arranged an industrial visit at 400 kV Soja Substation for final year students on 5th September, 2022 as a part of students’ curriculum “Switchgear and Protection”. This industrial visit was guided and accompanied by Prof. H N Zala, Prof. A T Mistry and Prof. G P Pipaliya.

The objectives of the visit were to fill the gap between technical concepts taught in curriculum and industry applied concepts; to make students understand erection and commissioning of substation equipment, wiring of substation equipment and functioning and controlling of EHV substation.
