Chemical Engineering Department conducted an Industrial Visit for third year students to Ambuja Intermediates Ltd, Chhatral in order to provide practical knowledge about the manufacturing process of dye intermediates and to aware them about various unit operations and Unit Processes pertaining to dyes intermediates.

• Observed manufacturing process of Dyes intermediates such as H-acid, DASA (4,4-Diamino Sulphanilide), TCP etc.

• Learnt pollution treatment facilities such as ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) and waste management
• Visit to Boiler House, RO Plant , ETP, Associated Unit operations to manufacturing of Dyes intermediates
