Women Development Cell organized an awareness seminar on “She Knows Money-Getting Confident with Financial Matters” on 25th November, 2022. Mr. Piyush Patel, M.E. Civil, A.M.I.E, Proprietor, Prushti Investment was the expert for this awareness session. Around 90 girl’s students and 15 female faculty members from various departments participated in the webinar. The program was aimed with the goal of making female students understand the importance and benefits of financial goals/planning at a very early age. The program was also conducted with the objective to know money matters and make them aware of taxation rules and various government saving schemes/insurance policies/schemes, tax exemption benefits of home loans/educational loans, Benefits of investing in Mutual Fund SIP, etc.
