A Workshop on Linux – Let’s Get Started

EC Department organized a one-day Workshop titled “Linux – Let’s Get Started” under ATAL Tinkering Lab. Students of 2nd and 3rd year were benefited by the workshop. The session started with a brief introduction and history of Linux by Prof. Ketan Patel which was followed by the importance of Linux skill and its usage in different EC related fields by Prof. Shreeji Shah. In the next session, hands-on practice was carried on in which many topics like different environments of Linux, file system, basic file management commands, networking commands etc were discussed.
