EC Department organized a 2-day workshop on ‘PCB Design using Ki-CAD’ on 20th & 21st April, 2023. The expert for this workshop was Prof. Manish Lad from ICT department, Dr. S. & S. S. Gandhi College of Engineering & Technology, Surat. The session started with a prayer and a warm welcome to Prof. Manish Lad by Prof. Kiran Trivedi. In the first session, Prof. Manish Lad introduced the basics of PCB designing nomenclatures and Ki-CAD software environment. In later sessions, hands on practice were given to the participants for the schematic design, placement, foot print allotment, for Arduino UNO basic design. Second day started with Foot print allocation and completed with routing and complete GDSII file generation.
