A Webinar on - Project Report Preparation and Different Schemes on MSME Growth

    The Instrumentation and Control Department under SSIP Cell of VGEC, Chandkheda organized a webinar on “Project Report Preparation and Different schemes on MSME Growth” for students of all semesters, on July 9th, 2021 on Microsoft Teams. The speaker of the webinar was Mr. T. K. Solanki, Assistant Director/Sr. Statistical Officer Govt. of India, M/o, MSME, MSME-Development Institute, Ahmedabad. Around 35 students and 10 faculties participated in this webinar, which was coordinated by Prof. Swapna N. Shah.

    The focus of this webinar was on creating awareness among students about various government policies supported for growth and development of MSME. During the webinar, the expert discussed how to apply for a start-up or new venture, to approach different agencies and organizations for finance and stepwise procedure to formulate a project report for approval of a project. He also discussed the stepwise and systematic procedure for an entrepreneur to follow to successfully get the approval of his/her project venture, necessary credential documents and forms, followed by procurement details, technology to be used, machine details, product marketing related surveys, list of competitors, product demand, authorized dealers, target to capture market, infrastructure facilities like power, transportation, availability of raw material, availability of skilled and unskilled manpower etc and lastly submission process flow chart. Installed capacity, market trend, and discount on products for better prospectus of loan approval to government agencies as well as banks were the points elaborated in the session.

    Students understood the importance of analyzing their financial problems while setting up a start-up, after attending this session.
