Alumni can provide valuable connections for job opportunities, internships, and career advice. These connections can lead to a wider network of professionals and can be helpful in advancing one's career. In view of that, an “Interactive Session with Alumni for the Placement of EC - 2024 Batch” was organized by EC Department under Training and Placement Cell, VGEC. The objective of this session was to guide pre-final year students and to make them ready for upcoming placement season. Mr. Vishal Vanza (2018 batch), Mr. Het Suthar (2019 batch) and Mr. Rukmi Chavda (2023 batch) briefed students about different career options available in Embedded systems and VLSI domains, which are the core fields of Electronics & Communication Engineering.
Industry expert Mr. Gaurang Parmar from eInfochips Ltd. Also shared his work experience and answered students’ queries about placement preparation. Training and Placement Coordinator of EC Department, Prof. Jayesh Diwan added that such interactions with alumni are very essential for the students to understand industry expectations and its fulfilment. These sessions were attended by 132 enthusiastic pre-final year students.
