Civil Engineering Department organised an expert lecture for Sem 3 Civil Engineering students on 12th October, 2023. The main objective of this session was to make students understand about how construction and demolition waste can be useful to reduce manufacturing of new materials, promote recycling, restore valuable metals and avoid excessive mining. Moreover, this session enlightened the students with the knowledge of various recycled materials, research area, quality measures and sustainability. At the end of the session, question and answer session was conducted to solve students’ queries. The workshop was concluded with the vote of thanks.
