About the Event:

To educate and aware the students about safe treatment of e-waste for environment protection, Electrical Engineering Department of VGEC-Chandkheda organized an expert talk on “E - waste Management” in association with e-Junki on 24/08/2021 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Zoom (Online Application). The expert talk was addressed by Mr. Aditya Rai who is a Social Entrepreneur and a Digital Marketer and he has Co-founded e-junki in the year 2020. The event was attended by 49 participants including students and faculty members.

Objective of the Event:

  • To educate and aware students about how to safely channelize and dispose e-waste.
  • To address the significance of safe treatment of e-waste for environment protection and conservation
  • To acknowledge the health and environment hazards caused by e-waste and adopt safer and best practices to treat e-waste
  • To create an ecosystem towards sustainable society to support  e-waste management
