Report on Elocution Competition and Essay Writing Competition

Introduction

Under the celebration of Vikas Saptah, on 9th October, the Electrical Engineering Department of VGEC Chandkheda organized an elocution competition and an essay writing competition under the theme "Continuous Electricity, Continuous Development (અવિરત વિકાસ માટે અવિરત વીજળી)". The events aimed to foster awareness about the importance of sustainable energy solutions and their role in driving socio-economic growth. The objective of this competition was to encourage students to express their thoughts on the relationship between electricity and development and to enhance public speaking and writing skills among students. The elocution and essay writing competitions raised awareness about the critical link between continuous electricity and development. Participants demonstrated a high level of engagement with the topic, showcasing their understanding and innovative ideas for a sustainable energy future.

 

At the end of the competition, all students and faculty members took Bharat Vikas Pledge and showcased commitment to the development and progress of India, focusing on values such as unity, integrity, and the collective effort to build a prosperous nation.

Essay participants developed analytical and research skills by exploring complex topics, encouraging independent thought and informed opinions.
