To support students aiming for higher studies and career opportunities through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), the department of Electrical Engineering  of VGEC organized a special GATE Preparation Session in August 2023. The session was conducted by Mr. Satish Kumar, a renowned GATE mentor and subject expert.

The objective of the session was to:
- Familiarize students with the GATE exam structure and preparation strategy
- Guide them on time management, subject prioritization, and high-scoring areas
- Share real-life experiences and insights from previous GATE qualifiers
- Introduce students to the latest trends, syllabus changes, and preparation resources

Mr. Satish Kumar emphasized the importance of consistency, concept clarity, and practice through mock tests. He also provided tips for self-discipline, revision planning, and handling exam pressure. The interactive Q&A at the end of the session helped students clarify their doubts and gain confidence for their preparation journey. 

The session witnessed active participation from students of all departments and was well-received for its content-rich delivery and practical approach.
