VGEC E-Cell successfully organized an insightful workshop on patent awareness. The session aimed to educate students about Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), including patents, copyrights, and trademarks, and emphasized the importance of legally protecting student innovations.

The expert speaker explained the fundamentals of IPR and detailed the patent filing process in India. To make the session more engaging, real-world examples were shared, and platforms like inPASS were introduced for conducting patent searches, making the content both relatable and practical.

The workshop proved especially valuable for students involved in projects, startups, and research, encouraging them to safeguard their ideas. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where students actively participated and gained practical insights into innovation protection.
