An Industrial Visit to BISAG Gandhinagar

Electronics and communication Engineering Department had organised the Industrial Visit for its students on 25th & 26th July, 2025, at BISAG. The main objective of visit was to aware students about new technologies and research in field of Communication and to help students to gain information regarding satellite communication. 

In first session, Shri Jayesh Makwana has given brief overview of functions of BISAG.He explained how BISAG is helping to solve various problems of land, health, education, home and other government departments. He narrated that remote sensing and GIS applications have provided impetus to planning and development activities at grass root level as well as monitoring and management of various disciplines like land resources, water resources. BISAG has 10 studios for recording and broadcasting of various programs for spreading and sharing the educational knowledge to all parts of Gujarat.

In second session, we have visited to two of them and one was working with normal technology and other was working with Chroma technology (used for changing the background of picture/video).Students had provided feedback that visit was very useful in learning various communication aspects.
