The Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP) is a significant initiative to foster student innovation and entrepreneurship. To ensure the successful implementation of this policy, it is crucial to sensitize the students for nurturing the innovative capabilities of students. To foster the culture of innovation and start-up, SSIP cell VGEC conducted a session for the Second Year (Sem-3) students on 1st August, 2024 from 1 PM to 2 AM. The program was started with the information on the policy, then after presented and discussed various topics such as overview of SSIP, history, objectives, and key components. The Importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in education and in its regards the resources available for teachers and students underSSIP at VGEC are discussed. Students are sensitised on how VGEC can provide the support as a grantee institute for SSIP projects, and Collaboration opportunities with industry and higher education institutions. This event left an indelible mark on the journey of innovation, start-up and entrepreneurship. Session was concluded with questions of students and its answers.
