The Department of Information Technology, through the IEI Student Chapter (IT), successfully organized an institute-level technical event titled “TECHNIX 2026” on 6th February 2026 at Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad.
TECHNIX 2026 aimed to foster technical aptitude, creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills among students. The event witnessed participation from more than 200 students across various departments.

A hybrid virtual and physical clue-based adventure designed to test participants’ logical reasoning, analytical skills, and teamwork through a sequence of interconnected challenges.
IQ Arena (Quiz)
A fast-paced quiz competition aimed at evaluating participants’ intellectual abilities, problem-solving skills, and general technical awareness through rapid-fire rounds.
Ad-Zap
A creative technical advertisement-making competition where participants conceptualized and presented innovative marketing ideas, blending technology with creativity and communication skills.
Code Combat
A competitive coding event focused on algorithmic thinking, debugging, optimization, and real-time problem solving under time constraints.
Special Activity:
Meme-e-Meme – Creative meme-making activity related to college and technical culture.

Overall Impact
TECHNIX 2026 successfully created a dynamic technical environment that encouraged student participation beyond classroom learning. The event strengthened peer learning, promoted innovation, and provided a platform for students to explore their technical and creative potential.
