The primary goals of CHEM$PORTS 2025 include :-
VOLLEYBALL
Volleyball was one of the highlight events of CHEM$PORTS 2025, organized by the Chemical Engineers' Association (ChEA) at VGEC Chandkheda. The event aimed to foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a healthy competitive spirit among students. A total of 56 players participated, forming 8 enthusiastic teams from which 6 boys team and 2 girls team.
As a fast-paced and dynamic sport, volleyball demands exceptional coordination, agility, precision, and quick reflexes. Each team, comprising six players, competed with the goal of sending the ball over the net into the opponent's court while defending their own side.
The event was meticulously organized under the leadership of Faculty Coordinator Prof. Rakesh Merchant and some Student Coordinator whose dedicated efforts contributed to the smooth execution and success of the tournament.
The matches were intense and closely contested, with players demonstrating outstanding skill and determination. After a series of thrilling encounters, Team Hostel emerged as the champions, securing the first prize. The winning team from boys members were:-

BADMINTON
CHESS
The CHESS event held recently as part of CHEM$PORTS 2025 was a resounding success, featuring 20 enthusiastic participants. Known for demanding intense focus, patience, and strategic thinking, chess captivated both players and onlookers, making it one of the most intellectually stimulating events of the tournament.The event was efficiently organized under the guidance of Faculty Coordinator Prof. Zoher Z. Painter, along with some Student Coordinator , who ensured its smooth execution.
Each player began with 16 pieces, competing in one-on-one knockout rounds with the ultimate goal of checkmating the opponent's king. The structure of the tournament provided participants a valuable opportunity to interact, share strategies, and receive feedback, fostering both learning and camaraderie.
The matches were fiercely contested, showcasing the players' deep understanding of the game and their excellent sportsmanship. After several gripping rounds, below students were emerged as joint winners, securing the first prize.
Overall, the chess event was more than just a competition—it was a celebration of strategic brilliance and mutual respect. It successfully promoted the timeless game and inspired more students to explore its depth and challenge.
