The VGEC NCC Unit proudly celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India on 15 August 2026 at Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Chandkheda. The celebration began with the NCC Parade and ceremonial Flag Hoisting, by Honourable Principal Dr. Vinay S. Purani sir, setting a proud and patriotic tone for the day.

The campus resonated with the spirit of patriotism, unity and national pride as students, NCC cadets, faculty members and staff came together to commemorate the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. The programme featured inspiring speech, Drama and a vibrant array of patriotic cultural performances, showcasing the talent, confidence and creativity of VGEC students.

The celebration also provided an opportunity to recognise and appreciate the achievements of students and NCC cadets in various activities and competitions. Through discipline, teamwork, leadership and a strong sense of responsibility, the VGEC NCC Unit continues to nurture responsible, confident and nation-minded youth.
