An Insightful Workshop on cybercrime investigation and digital forensics Organized by The Cyber Force (TCF), Information Technology Department, VGEC in collaboration with CAWACH Kendra Date: 26 February 2026
A hands-on training session on Digital Forensics and Incident Response was conducted to equip students with practical skills in investigating cybercrimes and responding to security incidents. The workshop combined expert-led sessions with interactive exercises to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application.

The workshop started with a welcome address by TCF core members and a felicitation ceremony to honour the guests and faculty members.Students were introduced to the purpose and structure of the workshop.
Surprise Quiz:
A quiz was conducted at the end of the workshop to test participants' understanding of the concepts covered. The quiz consisted of multiple-choice questions, and the top 3 winners received prize money:
1. 1st Prize: ₹1,000 [Abhishek Pawar, IT, sem 4]
2. 2nd Prize: ₹750 [Digvijay Jadav, DS , sem 2]
3. 3rd Prize: ₹500 [Mishty Vadera, DS, sem 4]
The workshop successfully provided students with foundational knowledge and practical experience in cybercrime investigation and digital forensics. It helped participants understand real-world digital forensics practices and encouraged responsible digital behaviour.
