An interactive expert session on "Cybersecurity in the Workplace" was organized by The Cyber Force (TCF) to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industrial practices. The session aimed to provide students with practical insights into modern cybersecurity trends, threat discovery, attack surface monitoring, and emerging hardware hacking methodologies, while presenting a structured roadmap to prepare for careers in the cybersecurity sector.
The session on Cybersecurity in the Workplace provided students with practical exposure to the real-world cybersecurity ecosystem. Students gained insights into corporate recruitment standards, compensation expectations, and the vital role of continuous skill upgrading. They learned about the significance of attack surface management and threat intelligence platforms. The session helped students understand the offensive and defensive capabilities of modern hardware tools. The interactive discussions offered a direct channel to engage with an active industry leader, clarifying career pathways and providing a structured 12-month certification plan. Overall, the experience enhanced students' technical understanding, professional awareness, and practical readiness.
