On 10 September 2026, the SSIP Coordinators of the respective departments of Vishwakarma Government Engineering College (VGEC), Chandkheda, arranged group-viewing sessions for the MIC-Driven Activity “MeitY Startup Hub: Empowering Innovation in HEIs.” The activity was organized under the aegis of the Institutions Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), AICTE.

The session focused on strengthening the innovation and startup ecosystem in Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) through the initiatives of MeitY Startup Hub. Faculty members and students participated in the live session through department-wise group viewing, providing them an opportunity to gain awareness about various initiatives supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, research, and startup development.

The programme encouraged participants to explore opportunities related to innovation, entrepreneurship, incubation, research and development, and startup activities. The department-wise arrangement facilitated wider participation and helped strengthen the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship across VGEC.

The coordinated efforts of the SSIP Coordinators of the respective departments helped facilitate wider participation and contributed towards strengthening the culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup development at VGEC.
