The 10 evaluation groups were coordinated through different departments of VGEC, with the respective Department SSIP Coordinators facilitating the evaluation process and coordinating with jury members, participating teams, faculty members, and student volunteers. This coordinated arrangement enabled systematic and smooth evaluation of the participating teams across the Software and Hardware categories.
A dedicated Internal Hackathon 2026 website, developed by Prof. Jaswant Dave and his team from the IT Department, further streamlined the process by facilitating team registration, project submission, jury coordination, online evaluation, result consolidation, certificate generation, and centralized communication. The digital integration enabled rapid consolidation of evaluation scores and made it possible to declare the final results on the same evening of the Hackathon, significantly enhancing the efficiency and transparency of the selection process.
The Internal Hackathon successfully provided a common platform for students across VGEC to demonstrate their innovative ideas and solutions.
The successful conduct of Internal Hackathon 2026 reflected the collective efforts of the E-Cell, SSIP, Department SSIP Coordinators, various departments, faculty members, industry experts, jury members, student volunteers, and the IT team.
With 45 teams—30 Software and 15 Hardware—selected for nomination to Smart India Hackathon 2026, the event provided students with a valuable platform to transform their ideas into solutions, interact with experts, and demonstrate their capabilities in a competitive environment. The coordinated institute-wide efforts, supported by a dedicated digital platform for registration, evaluation, result consolidation, and documentation, enabled the Hackathon to be conducted in an efficient, transparent, and systematic manner, with the results declared on the same evening.
