Vice President and Head of Quality
Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.
July 11, 2025
Returning to his alma mater, VGEC, as a Central Expert Speaker for SIP 2025, Mr. Harish Jakhmola delivered a session that combined corporate wisdom with personal reflection. A proud alumnus and now Vice President at Kalpataru Projects International Ltd., Mr. Jakhmola brought students a live example of how humble beginnings, discipline, and deep learning lead to transformative success. Introduced by his former teacher, Principal Dr. V. S. Purani, Mr. Jakhmola reflected on his student life, placement pressures, and the behavioural changes that shaped his journey from classroom challenges to global leadership. His message was simple yet powerful: your presence in college shapes your future in the corporate world. He spoke on resume mastery, fitness as a career tool, emotional intelligence, and the art of becoming a specialist. He encouraged students to embrace punctuality, grooming, and daily responsibility — not as rules, but as rituals of excellence. His mantra: “Success isn’t about noise. It’s about presence — consistent, competent, and calm.” Dr. I. N. Trivedi closed the session with heartfelt reflections, calling the session “a mirror” — a real, raw glimpse into what it takes to lead not just teams, but oneself. For VGEC students, this wasn’t just a lecture; it was a lesson in living purposefully, professionally, and proudly.
