Abstract Point of sale (POS) based system available in market which need to cashier interaction. Payment handled by cashier with barcode scanner and computer system. Very costly system only suitable for large super markets. Indian Payment methodology is somewhat complex. High functionality based POS system for multichannel supply area. POS system implementation cost is very high. Such product is available in Japan Supermarkets and use cashier less payment method. The product gives Card/Cash both payment methods. The proposed self serving POS machines would have following facilities. Suitability as per Indian shopping culture requirement. Fully functional based cheaper product design. As we observed product in Japan with large computer systems and costlier devices pricing around 2,00,000 to 3,00,000 Rupees. We have to change computer system in smaller size system with barcode scanner and printer. Payment type will be replaced by ATM card and e-commerce payment system rather than Cash payment.
